Quake 2

Despite it's age, Quake2 and it's engine still remain very popular, with Soldier of Fortune using a (highly modified) Quake2 engine. So, I felt it deserved to be included. Quake2 uses an OpenGL engine utilizing colored lighting, dynamic light effects and such, so let's give it a go!

Very nice results. The image quality was fantastic too, even with VSync off. Unlike other Savage chipsets, no tearing was visible with VSync off.

I'm CPU limited here, obviously. I don't know why the 32-bit scores are better than the 16-bit. A little strange, but I'm not complaining! Take a look at Massive1..

The oddness repeats. Despite that the Viper2 does very well in Quake2, aided by my CPU. It could be faster, but when the T+L comes in we should see even faster results, as all OpenGL games can benefit hardware T+L.
