3DMark2000 is one the most intensive benchmark programs around, as well as one of the most controversial. Why is this? Well, because developers can tweak their drivers to recognize the .EXE and optimize them for it. But, regardless of this, it at least allows you to see some interesting information on the performance. Here's the results. Conclusion from 3DMark2000

The scores are again dissapointing. While I have a Celeron 550, my friends 466 Celeron / GeForce DDR combo beats the Viper2 by over 30fps in all resolutions in 3DMark2000. I know this card wasn't designed to go head-to-head with a DDR-based GeForce, I don't believe the scores should be that low for a 550MHz computer.. it's obvious D3D needs work. Let's ee how OpenGL does.
